Organic accommodation at the Kallat Heritage Resort consists of cottages for living as one with nature. The cottages offer a peaceful environment for you to relieve your tensions. Eco Cottages: Three Cottages have been specially designed to meet international standards of style and comfort and are set in a rustic surrounding of bamboo, banana, coffee, and orange plants and surrounded by a crystal clear River. Modern amenities are tastefully arranged in each of the well appointed cottages nestling among the greenery. Each cottage has an independent bedroom unit with attached western bathrooms (with hot water). All the cottages have power backup and intercom facilities in the rooms. The heritage resort represents authentic, traditional ambience for living in communion with all the elements of nature in the shape of its cottages. Each cottage is naturally cooled by the spice laden breeze and interior ceiling fans. Although the look is traditional, modern amenities have been tastefully added for our guests comfort. The Plantation Cottage: The Plantation Cottage is a little more rustic and has one comfortable, independent room with attached western toilet. This secluded cottage is nestled next to the reception area so that it may be suitable for senior citizens or people with walking difficulties. Please note that meals are now served in front of the cottage on request. Tents : Two furnished tents are set up 15m away from the Plantation Cottage. Overlooking a river and valley they offer complete privacy. Both the tents are furnished with beds and basic furniture and accommodate four people. Toilet and wash room are a few meters away, where warm water is also provided. Long Stay : Have your own private cottage at the Kallat heritage. Enjoy the luxury of a simple life with clean air, pure water, beautiful surroundings and a negligible carbon footprint. A self service cottage comes with kitchen facilities. Ideal for artists, writers, photographers and just about anyone wanting to escape to peace and solitude. We serve only organic food grown on the resort grounds to our guests. Trekking facilities, campfire, barbecue and adventure activities are also provided and together add up to give the guests, memories that last a life time.
